Savannah's Award

Savannah received the Danyel Richardson Award of Courage at Gwin Elementary. Savannah was nominated by her teachers and classmates for the award and was the first annual recipient. The award is given to honor Danyel Richardson, a student from the school who passed away from cancer last year. The description says that the award is given to a student
"who exhibits outstanding character, determination, and bravery in light of a serious challenge."
